Warsaw Airport starts new year with record month

Warsaw’s Frederic Chopin airport has started the year 2016 with yet another record month. In January, the airport handled almost 738 thousand passengers, an increase of 7% compared to the same month in the previous year.

In the first month of 2016, Chopin Airport served 737.9 thousand passengers, 48 thousand more than in January 2015. In international traffic 6.576 thousand passengers(+ 7.0%) were handled and in domestic traffic 80.2 thousand. (+ 6.3%).

The airport recorded record results continuously since October 2014.
