Warsaw Chopin Airport can look back at a successful year 2015. Until the end of the year, the airport will have handled more than 11 million passengers. An increase of half a million passengers compared to 2014.
Representatives of the airport say that increasing traffic is thanks to the renovated terminal, new carriers and the growing interest of Poles traveling. Still, compared to other European nations we are flying less frequently. But we recognize a dynamic increase in the number of people using the services of air carriers, airport representatives say.
Management of Warsaw airport are eager to make the Polish capital the largest airport and travel hub in Central and Eastern Europe. In this category, the airport competes with Prague and Budapest.
