July 2015 was another month in which Kraków Airport handled over 400,000 passengers. Last month 430 657 passengers were recorded on the routes to / from Kraków. This result is 9% higher than in July 2014. It’s also the best ever result for July and the ninth consecutive record month.
In July, an increase in the number of air operations was also recorded. There were 3 525 flights, 3% more than in July 2014. Yet another month in which we maintain a stable level of growth – notes Jan Pamuła, spokesperson for Kraków Airport. In July, we have served nearly 36,000 passengers more than the year before. This is due to increases in traffic scheduling. We anticipate that growth will remain high even after the holiday season, when we will start flights to Israel and the Canary Islands- , Pamuła adds.
Since the beginning of the year Kraków Airport served a total of 2 404 472 passengers. This is an increase of almost 224,000 passengers, which translates into a growth of + 10%.
