The Polish national football team dropped to 2nd. place in the Euro 2016 qualifying group D after a 3:1 defeat against Germany in Frankfurt yesterday.
Despite an outstanding performance, Lewandowski & Co. were unable to hold on to their top spot in Group D of the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. Thomas Muller put the world champions ahead and Mario Gotze increased the lead to 2:0. Robert Lewandowski’s eighth goal of the campaign brought hopes back up for Poland just before halftime.
Gotze’s second goal ensured the win for Germany which moved to the pole-position passed Poland.
Poland will take on Gibraltar on Monday.
