President Duda’s travel plans announced

Polish President Andrzej Duda’s office has announced the plans of international travel over the first 100 days of his presidency.


Plan for visits:

23rd August Visit to Tallin Estonia. It will be the anniversary of signing The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact

28th August- visit to Berlin (accompanied by wife)

15th September visit to London

21st – 22nd September – The president will take part in a meeting of presidents of Arrailos group in Erfurt Germany. Presidents of Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Portugal Slowenia and Poland will take place.

26th – 29th of September UN conference in New York (accompanied by wife)

8th 9th October – meeting of Visegrad group in Balatonfured, Hungary

3rd – 4th November- Regional meeting before NATO summit. Presidents of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland will take part. The Polish president will be co-hosting the event with his Romanian counterpart in Bucharest.

November – NATO summit – China- Middle and Eastern Europe: The event be attended by representatives of Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia

The president’s representative Krzysztof Szczerski, who announced the plan today, said that possible trips to Brussels and Paris are being discussed as well as a meeting with Ukraine’s president Petro Poroshenko.
