New bomb scare in Wroclaw – City center closed off

A bomb scare on Friday afternoon (20.05.16) saw the area around Plac Dominikański in Wroclaw completed sealed off for 2 hours. The reason was a black bag left behind at a tram stop. The bomb alarm came only a day after a device exploded just shortly after being removed from a bus in Wroclaw.


Passengers alerted officials of a black bag which was left behind at a tram stop at Plac Dominikański. The area was completely sealed off for two hours. An inspection of the bag determined that it did not contain any explosive material.

On Thursday, a nail bomb exploded shortly after being removed from bus no. 145 in Wroclaw.
