Police and fire services in Poland warn that roads may be very slippery in the east and center of the country due to frost. Police also asks drivers to be cautious when driving in fog with low visibility.
After rain and rapidly melting snowfall yesterday, temperatures across Poland fell below zero. These conditions result in slippery road surfaces and sidewalks. During the night, temperatures fell to minus 5 degrees in the east and minus 1 degree in western Poland. Almost across the whole country, including the Łódź region, fog will cause limited visibility. Police appeal to drivers to drive with caution. Pedestrians, walking in non-residential areas, are reminded that they must wear high-visibility gear.
