As the news outlet “Fakt.pl” reported, the Polish government has approved a bill under which a person using the term “Polish Death Camp”, when referring to Nazi German concentration camps in Poland, could face up to three years in jail.

Fakt.pl quoted Zbigniew Ziobro, Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, as saying “the proposed solutions will allow for a more effective defense of historical truth and the good name of Poland”.

The bill was drafted by the Ministry of Justice and was supported by the cabinet on Tuesday, fakt.pl reports.
