Unemployment in Łódź continues to fall

In Łódź News, Work in Poland & Info

Unemployment in the city of Łódź continues to drop. According to data released by GUS, unemployment in the central Polish city stood at 7.3% at the June 2017, 0.2 percentage points less than in the month before.

Unemployment in Łódź is still falling and is currently at the lowest in over six years. While low unemployment reflects the city’s economic potential and investment boom, employers do find it more difficult to find suitable candidates for their job offers.

Employers in Łódź and the region are already preparing for the second edition of the Łódź Regional Job Fair which is to take place at the Łódź EXPO hall in September. Just like last time, companies in Łódź said that there will be thousands of job offers available at the fair. The last recruitment fair was attended by 62 companies and approx. 8,000 visitors.
