Tickets go on sale for Promised Land Art Festival 2018

CD PROJEKT RED, “EC1 Łódź – City of Culture” and the city of Łódź are pleased to announce the launch of ticket sales and the first speakers of this year’s Promised Land Art Festival.

The event will take place from September 30th to October 3rd in the EC1 Łódź complex – a former revitalized power plant which now serves as a cultural, artistic and educational center.

The list of speakers is opened by Matt Rhodes – Art Director of the BioWare studio, where he is currently working on an unannounced project. His concept graphics breathed life into games such as Jade Empire, Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Raphael Lacoste – Brand Art Director of Assassin’s Creed and laureate of two Visual Effects Society Awards is back at the Promised Land Art Festival. His portfolio, apart from games, also includes feature films. Lacoste has worked on such titles as Terminator Salvation, Journey to the Center of the Earth and Jupiter: Enthronement.

The next speaker is Rodrigue Pralier – Senior Character Artist in the studio of Reflector Entertainment. Pralier has over 15 years of experience in the video game industry and as a member of the Electronic Arts team, he participated in the work on brands such as Army of Two, Mass Effect and Medal of Honor.

Daniel Peixie – Animator CG of Californian Walt Disney Animation Studio will also share his knowledge. His portfolio includes the latest major Disney productions; films such as Tangled, Land of Ice, Big Six, Wildlife and Vaiana: Ocean Treasure.

During the Promised Land, creative industry professionals come to Łódź to unite in the celebration of art and sharing their passion. It’s a place to exchange experiences, broaden horizons, and get to know other creators. Numerous attractions await the participants of the event, including the opportunity to take part in lectures, discussion panels, as well as digital and traditional art demonstrations and workshops run by world-class specialists.
