Forget the grey and dull weather for a while as this weekend the city of Łódź will change its face to become an illuminated artwork across the center of the city. Lux Pro Monumentis Foundation invites everyone to join the spectacle from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th of October.
The Light Move Festival, a unique artistic event, which every year turns the city of Łódź into a magical show of illuminations and colourful projections, will take place from Friday to Sunday (7th to 9th of October).
The main aim of the Light Move Festival is to promote the potential of this cultural and creative city. Conscious artistic use of light emphasizes individuality and attractive architecture, highlighting its qualities and distinctive decoration.
Visitors to the festival, which is organized by the Lux Pro Monumentis Foundation, will be entertained by audiovisual projections, spectacular illuminations of buildings, light installations and concerts.
Over the last 5 years, the festival has become one of the most popular outdoor events in Poland, attracting visitors from all over the globe. Last year, over 550,000 visitors made their way to the center of Łódź to follow the spectacle and the 6th edition of the Light Move Festival promises to be even bigger and more spectacular.
