Luxembourg opens honorary consulate in Łódź

Another representation of one of Poland’s partners has opened in Łódź. This time, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg set up a diplomatic in the central Polish city.


Georges Faber, ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Poland, inaugurated the diplomatic work of the honorary consulate. – Luxembourg and Łódź can work together on many levels, for example, we can take advantage of each other’s experience in the field of logistics and information technology. Now we are at a stage at which we try to understand better the areas in which we can work together. I know that the Łódź Province is highly developed in terms of logistics, so is Luxembourg, – Faber said.

Among others, Deloitte, which has its headquarters in Luxembourg, operates in Łódź. The consulate of Luxembourg is the 14th honorary consulate in Łódź. So far, among others, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the Czech Republic have diplomatic representations in Łódź.
