Łódź on two wheels. Public bicycles popular in first month of new season

Public bicycles in Łódź have been back on the streets of the city for one month. On the 1st of March they returned from their winter break and have already proven very popular, despite the still somewhat mixed weather.

Between the 1st and 31st of March, public bicycles in Łódź were rented over 137thousand times. As the weather improves, the number of rentals also increases. With temperatures reaching up to 18 degrees, last weekend saw the highest number of rentals within a two day period this season. On Saturday and Sunday (1st & 2nd April) bicycles were rented nearly 20thousand times.

The number of registered users also steadily increases. In March, Nextbike Polska registered 5,153 new users in their system, bringing the total up to 70,366 registered users.
