Łódź city council announced that it will be investing a total of 18 million PLN in the public health sector in Łódź this year. The funds are aimed to renovate facilities such as operating rooms as well as the purchase of new ultrasound devices.
10 million PLN of the allocated funds will be spend on the modernization of buildings and facilities. In addition, the council wants to invest in the modernization of neglected operating rooms and purchase of new, modern, equipment. – We want patients to have access to a wide range of specialists and comprehensive diagnosis, without having to visit several clinics and doctors in Łódź. We want to create facilities that allow patients full access to a wide range of diagnostics in one location-, says Robert Kowalik, director of Łódź council health department.
