Łódź Business Run 2017 – Registration process open from 6th of June

Preparations for the 2017 edition of the Łódź Business Run are in full swing and the registration process will be open from today (06.06.17). At a press conference held at the “Przerwa” restaurant, organizers and beneficiaries discussed the Łódź Business Run 2017 relay race.



The 2017 edition will already be the sixth edition of the country’s biggest run. This year, participants will run in seven Polish cities: Łódź, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk and Katowice. In 2016, over 16,000 people from 1118 companies took part and collected more than one million zloty.

Employees of Polish based companies will run for those in need. The goal is to help people with mobility impairment to return to normal life. The proceeds will be spent on rehabilitation and the purchase of prostheses for the disabled which will also be of psychological help for those affected.

– The result is not important, participation and integration are important. We are all one community. In Łódź people like to run. Let us show once again that Łódź can do it! – said Łódź President Hanna Zdanowska.

This year the Business Run will take place on the 3rd of September. Runners will be take part in teams of five. Each runner will cover the distance of 3.8 kilometers in a 5 run relay race.

Willing participants can register starting from Tuesday 6th of June at 12:00. Places are available for 2,000 runners making up a total of 400 teams. To register, please visit the Łódź Business Run website.

The organizers of the 2017 Łódź Business Run are Infosys Poland, Fujitsu, Nordea and Conduent. Main sponsors are Clariant, Corning, GLS, PwC, Takeda, Leanpassion, Accenture, Łódź Special Economic Zone.
