
Strong winds and heavy rain on Sunday evening have caused electricity failure and damage to trees and houses across the Łódź region. Approx. 3,000 households were left without electricity.
The storms hit the Łódź region in the afternoon hours of Sunday (04.06.). Heavy rainfall caused flooding in some areas while strong winds caused damage to trees and houses. The towns affected the most were Skierniewice, Łowicz, Bełchatów, Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Sieradz and Łask. Some 3,000 households were left without electricity in the evening, however, emergency services confirmed that power has since been restored.
