Happy Birthday! Atlas Arena in Łódź celebrates 8th anniversary

The 26th of June 2017 marks the 8th anniversary of Atlas Arena in Łódź. Since it’s opening, the popular event location has played host to several hundreds of sporting events, concerts and exhibitions.



In its eight years history, Atlas Arena in Łódź has welcomed over 4 million spectators from all over Poland and abroad. The arena has attracted 141 concerts, 234 sporting events and 116 exhibitions. With sports clubs, such as volleyball team Grot Budowlani Łódź, using the arena for their regular home matches, on-site training facilities are is also available for athletes.

In addition to major sports events, the arena has hosted some of the world’s most legendary musicians such as Depeche Mode, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Eric Clapton, The Cure, Florence + The Machine, Lenny Kravitz, Rod Stewart, Elton John and many more.

Going forward, the management of the arena have no plans for slowing down. Already there is line-up of stars to grace the arena and the city of Łódź with their presence. Sara Brightman invites to her Royal Christmas Gala and in the new year, Depeche Mode will once again return to the arena to rock the audience. Additionally, having qualified for Champions League Volleyball for the 2017 / 18 season, Grot Budowlani Łódź will play host to some of the biggest names in women’s volleyball.
