Exhibition “Ikonki – Icons” by Maciej Łuczak at OFF Piotrkowska 14.08. – 28.08.15

The exhibition “Ikonki” raises the problem of the functions of portraits. At the exhibition you will be able to see three ways to approach this topic. Portraits of paintings, large format photographs and computer icons.
Presented by Maciej Luczak, the collection of portraits was created over the past three months. The Vernissage takes place on Friday (August 14) at 20.00. The exhibition at the Gallery OFF Piotrkowska will be on display until 28th August.

Maciej Luczak graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Łodz in 2008. The next four years he spent in front of a computer screen designing advertising. Since 2012, together with his girlfriend Kasia Stańczak and sister Anna Maria Luczak, he runs Portrait Studio – an original art gallery located at the Ksiezy Mlyn in Łodz. In 2013, he received the magazine award “Format” for his painting “Bartek” granted under the Triennial of Painting “Autumn Confrontations” Gallery in Rzeszow. The exhibition “Ikonki” is the first after a long break of presentations of works by this artist.
