Happy Birthday Atlas Arena! 6 years – 300 events – 2.6 Million visitors

Atlas Arena in Łódź celebrated it’s 6th anniversary on Saturday, 27th of June 2015. The Arena Management can look back at a great success story with Saturday’s event marking another milestone.

- Today we are not only celebrating a birthday, but also reaching another milestone – exactly on Saturday, the birthday will mark the 300th event organized at Atlas Arena. – says Krzysztof Maciaszczyk, president of the arena management.

The Arena was opened in 2009 with the aim of becoming a sports arena. Since it’s opening 6 years ago, the arena was host to a great variety of sports events such the Men’s Volleyball World Cup 2014, Volleyball European Cups, Enduro Championships as well as being home to Volleyball Club Budowlani Łódź.

In addition to sports events, Atlas Arena has hosted concerts of world stars such Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, Shakira and Rihanna.
