150 new jobs to be created in Łódź

Technology and outsourcing giant Accenture plans to hire 150 new employees in Łódź this year. The company is looking for both, young graduates and experienced professionals.

– We are looking for employees willing to build a career in computer science, who will complete their Bachelor or Master’s degree in May. Next to a University degree in engineering or related fields, future employees should also be agile, quick thinking and willing to learn – explains Witold Rogowski, director of Accenture.

The company plans to develop an application under the name “Tourist Routes”. The application will have many interesting features. – We aim at tourists, so in addition to the Polish language, the application will also be available in English. The application will provide locals and tourists with points of interests as well as scenic or historic routes – explains Wojciech Walczak, head of Digital Solutions at Accenture.

The application “Tourist Routes” will be available from summer this year. Going forward, Accenture plans to hire between 800 – 1000 over the next few years.
