From January to November 2015, 10.5 million passengers were handled at Warsaw’s Chopin Airport, an increase of 6.1 percent year-on-year.
It is almost the number of the passengers handled in the whole of 2014. 9,393 million people (+7.4%) used the airport for international while the number of domestic flights passengers amounted to 1,089 million (-3.5% y-o-y.).
From the beginning of 2015, 9.7 million people were handled at Warsaw airport, which means a 6.3 percent increase compared to ten months of last year. 8.7 million passengers (an increase of 7.5 per cent.) travelled in international destinations and in domestic travel – 999 thousand passengers were counted (a decrease of 3.6 percent.).
