Transport company Uber says that it is planning to expand its operations in Poland. At the same time, the company stated that it will also lower its prices.

Uber, which offers alternative transport services, plans to expand its operations on the Polish market and therefore would be in a position to lower the price of its services – said the director of Uber in Poland Kacper Winiarczyk.

Winiarczyk pointed out that in Warsaw alone, every month more than 10 thousand people register using the company’s applications.

– Uber was greated with great interest by users in Poland – in the first year of presence, during which we launched services in five cities, we experienced faster growth than in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Stockholm in their first year of operations – said the director of the US company’s Polish branch.

Currently Uber offers its services in seven Polish cities in which approx. 3.5 thousand drivers per month provide the Uber service. He stressed that this is one of the reasons that also influenced the decision to expand the service and lower prices.
