Łódź Agglomeration Railway plans to launch a connection between Łódź and Warsaw. Negotiations with the Ministry of Transport have been ongoing for several months, however, ŁKA says that there has been a breakthrough.
President of ŁKA, Andrzej Wasilewski, says that he can not reveal any details yet, but promises that the Polish capital will soon move even closer to Łódź. – Ticket prices will be very competitive compared to other carriers, and travel time will be the shortest – says Wasilewski.
If the company’s plans will be implemented, Łódź Agglomeration Railway may be the fastest carrier on the most important rail connection in central Poland. Trains have overcome the distance from Łódź Widzew to Warsaw Central in just over an hour.
