Widzew Łódź will not get a license even for Liga 2

In Sports

Widzew Łódź will most likely not be granted a license to play in Liga 2 next season. Widzew has been relegated from Liga 1 to Liga 2 this season, however, due to financial difficulties the club will most likely follow local rival LKS into Liga 3.

The License Commission negatively examined the request Widzew. The problem is the terrible organizational and financial condition of Widzew and therefore there is no chance of a license to play in Liga 2.
What does it mean? It seems that Widzew must follow the example of LKS and start a new entity. It also means that Widzew will fall to Liga 3 instead of Liga 2.
