Widzew Łódź secures 3 points and top spot in league table. 1:0 against Tur Bielsk Podlaski

RTS Widzew Łódź continues to walk on strong in the 2017 / 18 Liga 3 season. Following their 1:0 win over Tur Bielsk Podlaski away from home this afternoon, the men of coach Franciszek Smuda continue to occupy top spot of the Liga 3 league table, 2 points ahead of Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki.



With their win and 6 games to go this season, Widzew took another step towards promotion to LIga 2 (3rd Polish league) football next season. The red and whites are leading the group’s table by two points ahead of Lechia Tomaszów Mazowiecki and seven points ahead of third place Polonia Warszawa.

Next up, Widzew plays host to GKS Wikielec on Sunday 20th of May. The game at the Widzew stadium is scheduled to kick off at 19:10.
