They did it again. Widzew Łódź cracks Polish record for season tickets sold twice in a year

In Sports

Liga 3 (fourth Polish football league) team RTS Widzew Łódź once again broke the record in season tickets sold. On Friday, the club announced that they have sold a staggering 15,311 season tickets for the 2017 / 18 season.

Last season, with the opening of the new Widzew stadium in March, the club announced a new record in ticket sales, breaking Lech Poznan’s previous record of 15,056. Despite the fact that Widzew could not keep up with their opponents and did not achieve promotion to Liga 2, fans continuously show their support for the club. With only 8 days to go until the new season, Widzew had sold 15,311 season tickets, breaking their own record from last season.
