The Polish national mens volleyball team crashed out of the 2017 European championship at the Tauron Arena in Krakow yesterday evening. The hosts of the tournament were defeated by Slovenia by 3:0.

A disastrous result for the host nation of the 2017 European volleyball championship. Having played one match in Warsaw in front of a record 65000 crowd against Serbia and two matches at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk against Finland and Estonia, the dream of glory came to an end yesterday evening in Krakow as Poland lost to Slovenia by 3:0 in the play-offs to the quarterfinals of the tournament at the Tauron Arena.
