Poland moves up in FIFA World Ranking

Following a successful run at the Euro 2016 tournament in France and a strong performance during the qualification, Poland has moved into 16th place of the FIFA world rankings.


The new ranking, which was published by FIFA on Thursday (14.07.), sees Poland move 11 places up the ranking ahead of Ecuador, Switzerland, Turkey and Hungary.

Following Adam Nawałka’s contract extension, the Polish national team is preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers. The first qualifying game will take place on the 4th of September in Kazakhstan.
