Łódź city council has rejected an appeal by football club ŁKS Łódź to lift limitations in the stadium’s capacity for the 4th league top game against Sokół Aleksandrów Łódzki.
The club argued that with the limitations in place, a maximum of 1,700 fans will be able to follow the game inside the stadium. If the council would lift the limitations, the club said that they would expect more 4,000 spectators.
ŁKS will play Sokół on Sunday, 20.03.16. The club is currently penalized for the misconduct of fans at ŁKS’s game against Ursus Warsaw in October last year.
