3:2 in Wrocław. Grot Budowlani Łódź advances to championship finals (Photos)

When Impel Wrocław and Grot Budowlani Łódź meet, fans of both teams can be assured that they will receive their monies worth. The two team met five times during the 2016 / 17 volleyball season and their latest match on Monday (10.04.) wasn’t short of suspense and emotions.

Grot Budowlani Łódź advanced to the Polish women’s volleyball championship finals as they defeated Impel Wrocław on Monday evening at the Orbita arena in Wrocław. Following their 3:1 victory in the first of the two-match series, the Łódź team only needed to win two sets to progress to the finals. At the end, they took it all by winning 3:2 in tie break.

Grot Budowlani Łódź will now meet with Chemik Police to battle it out for the title of 2016 / 17 Polish champions. The final will be played over two matches, one to be held at the Atlas Arena in Łódź on Friday 14.04. and the second and final match to be played at the Azoty Arena in Szczecin on Wednesday 19.04. . Both matches will start at 20:30 and will be broadcasted live on Polsat Sport. Tickets for the match in Łódź are already available for sale and can be purchased via the kupbilet website or at the club’s office at the Atlas Arena. Tickets are priced at 20 PLN for adults and 12 PLN reduced. Children up to the age of 7 can enter for free.
