Ice Hockey: ŁKH Łódź prepares for Sunday’s clash with BKS Bydgoszcz. Organizes charity “Teddy bear toss”

Local ice hockey team ŁKH Łódź looks confident ahead of their clash with BKS Bydgoszcz at the Bombonierka ice rink on Sunday evening. The team of captain Tadeusz Raczyński aims to bring fans the fourth victory in the fourth match of the season.

In three matches played this season, ŁKH Łódź secured three victories, comfortably taking top spot of the northern division of Liga 2. In their previous encounter with BKS Bydgoszcz, which was held on the 19th of November in Torun, the Łódź team defeated Bydgoszcz by 10:0.

At a press conference, which was held earlier this week, ŁKH capitan Tadeusz Raczyński said – We know of our value and strength and we believe in another victory. The coach will probably kill me for saying this, but I can not imagine that at the end of the season, we will not come out on top of the northern group of Liga 2 -.

During Sunday’s match, ŁKH Łódź will also hold a charity event in support of the Gajusz Foundation. For the “Teddy Bear Toss”, fans are asked to bring plush toys which will be thrown onto the ice after the first goal. The toys will be collected and donated to the Gajusz Foundation.

The match on Sunday will face off at 17:00. Tickets for the Bombonierka ice rink at ul. Stefanowskiego 28 are available at 10 PLN.
