“I think its time to make a change in our football. Perhaps we start in Friday’s game as the favorite. However, in recent matches played in Tbilisi, Spain and France were in similar roles, but faced a lot of problems” – said assistant manager Bogdan Zając at a press conference.

In Tiblisi, Georgians could tie with France 0: 0, and a goalless result with the then world champions Spaniards was maintained for 86 minutes. Eventually they lost 0: 1.

“We are prepared for all the eventualities. We practiced a lot, both offensive and defensive. However, it is important that we do not concentrate on our weaknesses. The match with Germany showed that if we concentrate on our strengths, we can even win against the world champions” – Zajac said.

The assistant coach of the “White and Red’s” is also confident about the psychological preparation Polish players.

“The daily trainings are also a mental workout. Each of the players has a way of mental preparation. They know what is at stake and they know how to prepare for it. Therefore, we are confident about that aspect” – he stressed.

After three rounds in Group D, Poland leads the group wit h7 points ahead of Ireland (also 7 points). Georgia is sitting in 5th place, having lost to Ireland and Scotland while gaining three points in the last round against Gibraltar.

Kick off in Tiblisi is at 18:00 (14.11.2014) and the game will be broadcasted live on Polsat and Polsat Sport.
