Eurovolley: Poland loses to Serbia in front of massive crowd at the national stadium

Poland has lost its first match at the Eurovolley tournament. Following an impressive opening ceremony and in front of 65,407 fans at the national stadium in Warsaw, the hosts of the Volleyball European Championship were defeated by a strong team from Serbia by 3:0 .

Next up, Poland will face off with Estonia and Finland in Gdansk, hoping to book their ticket to the play-off phase of the tournament. This year’s European Championship is hosted by Poland with matches taking place in the cities of Gdańsk, Szczecin, Katowice and Krakow.

Poland – Serbia 0:3 (22:25, 22:25, 20:25)
