Website of wSieci hacked following controversial magazine cover

The website of Polish weekly publication wSieci has been hacked. The hack comes after the magazine published a cover with the slogan “the rape of Europe”.

The attack of wSieci’s website was carried out by Cyber Justice Team, a group that calls itself “cyber activists fighting injustice in the world”. Following the attack, the group tweeted “Nazi anti Muslim hate propaganda not found”.

wSieci’s cover showed a white woman being grabbed by dark-skinned hands with the slogan “the rape of Europe” and caused heated debates on social media and in the international press.

The website was still not available on Tuesday morning (23.02.2016)
