Whirlpool to open Shared Service Center in Łódź. Plans to create 200 jobs

Multinational company Whirlpool is to open a new shared services center in Łódź. With their new center, the company intends to create 200 new jobs in the central Polish city.

According to the news outlet Wyborcza, the U.S. company plans to open a new shared services center in the heart of Łódź. The new center, which will employ up to 200 people, will deal with the accounting part of Whirlpool’s business for the majority of its European branches.



The center will be located at the “Nowa Fabryczna” office complex and will be the second tenant at the new office building.

– The focus of shared services in one location will be to improve our efficiency and effectiveness – says Marco Fossataro, vice of Whirlpool EMEA.

According to Wyborcza, recruitment for the new shared services center has already begun and is lead through recruitment agency Adecco. The company is looking for people with a background in accountancy and knowledge of foreign languages.
