A warning strike of employees of public transport company MPK Łódź, which was planned to be held on Friday morning (15.09.2017), was avoided. According to union members, an agreement between workers and management of the company has been reached.

Workers of MPK Łódź demand a pay raise. A warning strike was to be held if the trade unions had not reached an agreement with the management of the company. However, the strike has been called off as there are indications that a deal on employee salary increases will be signed still this month. – At the moment we agreed that there will be no strike. All indications are positive that the agreement will be signed – says the chairman of the trade union of drivers and motorists Zbigniew Matuszewski.

The warning strike was announced for Friday 15th of September 04:00 – 06:00.
