Station Łódź Chojny to receive facelift ahead of World Youth Days

The railways station Łódź Chojny will receive a small facelift ahead of the World Youth Days which are to take place in Poland this summer. The renovation will include the square in front of the station, stairs and ramps as well as decor inside the station’s building.


– Ahead of the World Youth Days, PKP SA plans to re-paint the paneling and repair the doors at the Łódź Chojny station. The cost of these repairs is estimated at 3,000 PLN. We also intent the renovate the square around the building as well as the pavement, stairs to the platform and the ramp for the disabled. We are currently in the process selecting the contractor for the job – said Aleksandra Dąbek, spokesperson for PKP SA.
