No-frills airline Ryanair has launched a new route between Łódź and Athens. Flights between the central Polish city and the Greek capital are scheduled to take off once per week during the 2018 summer period.
Today (12.05.) marked the first of the series of flights between the two cities as the first scheduled flight took off at 12:17. The inauguration ceremony at Łódź Airport was attended by Joanna Skrzydlewska, representatives of Łódź Airport, airline staff as well as passengers en-route to the Greek capital.
The is the fourth connection Ryanair offers to and from Łódź. In addition to Athens, the airline also flies to Dublin, London Stansted and East Midlands Airport.
Flights between Łódź and Athens are scheduled once per week on Saturdays.
