Łódź to buy new trams and buses

New low-floor trams and electric buses will arrive in Łódź over the next 2 years. During next week, MPK Łódź will sign a finance agreement for the purchase of 12 low-floor trams for the price of 117 million PLN.

The purchase of 12 new trams will cost 117 million PLN. They will be similar to those that already run through Łódź. – These are multi car vehicles equipped with security monitoring, ticket machines, validators, passenger information in visual and audio formats – says Sebastian Grochala, spokesperson for MPK Łódź.

The new trams will be running on line no. 14 from Łódź Kaliska to Łódź – Żabieniec.
