French entrepreneurs spread out in tents on Piotrkowska street between Zamenhofa and Roosevelta. The tents offer traditional delicacies from whole of France.
Francois and Corinne came to Lodz all the way from Burgundy. They offer goose pate, cream of chestnuts, jams, honeys and cheeses. – For now we only begin to trade. advertising We do not know how big the interest will be – admits Francois. The stands will offer food and clothes, perfumes, tablecloths or knives. French products are not cheap. For a bun you have to pay 7 zł, for foie gras 65 zł. A glass of wine is 10 zł, a kilo of cheese will cost even 119 zł.
Another attraction is the possibility of tasting cheeses and meats. – Some people only come to see and taste it, but many people buy – says Elizabeth Grajek from a stand with cheeses. – We are in Lodz for the first time, our products are new. The French fair will visit various Polish cities. The fair on Piotrkowska will be open every day until Sunday between the hours of 9-20.
