Easter Weekend 2015: What to do and where to go in Lodz

With the Easter holidays approaching fast, we have compiled a list of events that will take place in and around Lodz. Remember though, stock up on supplies as most shops will be closed on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.


Thursday – 02.04.2015

Traditional Polish Market “Staropolski” – 02.04. & 03.04. 09:00 – 20:00

Enjoy Polish cuisine, traditional Polish food items and specialities. Family run stands, offer a wide range of delicious meats, honey and bee products, traditionally baked breads, cakes and cookies, deli products, pies, pasta & fish.
On site you can taste freshly basked bread with homemade lard.

Friday – 03.04.2015

Shakespeare’s Globe On Screen: Macbeth – 19:00

Webcast of the play “Macbeth” which broke records of popularity. For those who have not had the opportunity to see the works of William Shakespeare, or want to relive the emotions of the British Council and Multikino invite you again to cinemas throughout the country. The recording is made at the Globe in London and broadcasted in Silver Screen cinema in Lodz.
